World Champion Jump-Ropers Come to Fort Edward!

Fort Edward School
4/23/2024

We are thrilled to share with you the exciting news that world champion jump-ropers, Nick and Kaylee Woodard, recently visited our school!

The Woodards came to Fort Edward to showcase their incredible talents and share their passion for jump-roping as a symbol of hard work and teamwork. Their inspiring performances left both students and staff in awe. They have both performed for several NBA teams, Cirque Du Solei, and many schools around the country. Nick started the company Learnin' The Ropes so that together they could share their love of jumping with people all over the world.

During their visit, Nick and Kaylee emphasized the values of perseverance, bravery, teamwork, and creativity - values that align perfectly with our Positivity Project initiative this year. It was heartwarming to see our students and staff cheering them on and even participating in the fun! Who knew we had so many talented jump-ropers here at Fort Edward?

After the assembly, members of Mrs. Neddo's After School Enrichment Jump Rope crew had a special opportunity to meet Nick and Kaylee in person and showcase their own jumping skills. It was truly a memorable experience for everyone involved.

Thank you to everyone who made this visit possible, and a special thank you to Nick and Kaylee for inspiring us with their talents and positive message. It was a great day to be part of the FORT family!
