Beat the February Blues: Join the Fort Edward PTO for Adirondack Thunder Kids Day!

As the February break winds down, are your kids climbing the walls? If you’re looking for a way to burn off some of that "inside energy" and support a great cause, we have the perfect solution.

The Fort Edward PTO is thrilled to invite students, families, and community members to a high-stakes afternoon of hockey as the Adirondack Thunder take the ice! This isn't just a game; it’s a full community event designed to get our families out of the house and into the stands.

Event Details

• Date: Sunday, February 22, 2026

• Time: 3:00 PM

• Location: Harding & Mazzotti Arena, Glens Falls, NY

Why You Can't Miss Kids Day

This specific game is geared entirely toward our younger fans. The first 1,000 kids through the doors will receive a free t-shirt. Additionally, the fun doesn’t stop when the buzzer sounds—there is a free post-game skate where fans can get on the ice with the Thunder players!

Transportation for Students (Grades 6–12)

We want to make sure every student who wants to attend has a way to get there. The PTO is providing a supervised bus for students in grades 6 through 12.

• Departure: The bus will leave Fort Edward at 2:15 PM.

• Return: The bus will return to the school immediately following the conclusion of the game.
