PARP 2026 Information

How to Participate

To reach the podium, students are encouraged to read daily with a partner—be it a parent, sibling, or even a furry friend!

Logging Your Progress: Just like last year, families will track their child’s reading progress digitally.

  • Where: Links to the weekly Google Forms will be posted on Class Dojo.

  • When: Forms must be submitted by 3:00 PM every Saturday to count for the week.

Spirit Days & Events

We are bringing the Olympic energy to the classroom with themed Spirit Days every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Whether it's wearing your favorite jersey or sporting "gold medal" yellow, check the PARP calendar (arriving in mailboxes this week!) to see each day's specific theme.

Rewards & The "Closing Ceremony"

We have some incredible incentives lined up for our dedicated readers:

  • Weekly Achievement: Every student who submits a weekly reading form will receive a certificate for 25 Class Dojo Points.

  • The Grand Champion Title: Students who participate all four weeks will earn a special certificate for 100 Class Dojo Points.

  • The Main Event: Our Grand Champions will be invited to participate in a high-energy Olympic-themed "Closing Ceremony" event on April 2nd!

  • Grade Level Competition: The grade level with the highest participation percentage each week will win a visit from Mrs. Smatko and the P2 Pop-Up Cart.

Stay Informed

Keep an eye on your child’s backpack! Hard copies of the PARP Calendar and the detailed Information Flyer will be sent out through student mailboxes this week.

If you have any questions regarding the logging process or the scheduled events, please feel free to reach out to the front office.

Let’s make this a record-breaking month of literacy. Happy reading, champions!
