Katie’s creative writing was recently featured in The Chronicle Newspaper as part of their School Views feature. Her teacher, Mrs. DeLisle, shares that Katie has a real passion for crafting creative stories—and her talent is definitely showing!

Lemonade Stand Plan
"The most fun thing I do around here in the summer is starting a lemonade stand, because my besties and I have been planning to start one. We are going to have cherry lemonade and normal lemonade, and we are going to have cookies and bracelets. Also, there is going to be music, and we will put lemons and ice in with the lemonade. We will also take turns doing jobs. We have named it Hidden Treasures Lemonade Stand. We have been planning this for years."
