Character Education Kickoff Assembly

We had our KICKOFF assembly for PreK-5 Character Education. This month we will focus on the character trait of RESPECT. Students were all given special Character t-shirts to show their FORTS pride.
During the assembly we had a special musical presentation from second grade, celebrated our "Students of the Month" for February (KINDNESS), and had a visit from a very special guest..,Jackie the Magician. She taught us about the MAGIC OF RESPECT!
We are excited to announce that as a way of reinforcing all of these positive character traits and behaviors we will now be a Class Dojo School.
What does that mean?
Students will now have the opportunity to earn Dojo points (or dollars) throughout their day for being RESPECTFUL, RESPONSIBLE, AND SAFE here at school. Classes will be given a certain day/time when they can visit our newly established Class Dojo store to cash in on their positive behaviors.
