APP testing will occur on 10/28 at 3 pm in our main gym for athletes in 7th and 8th grade who are interested in playing any JV or varsity level sports.

Our school community will focus on the Other People Mindset of Being present and giving others my attention. This means when we are with other people, we are present and give them our full attention.

Kindergarten classes only will have a half day on Thursday, October 10 for final Kindergarten screenings. Appointments will be scheduled for students still in need of screening. Dismissal will be at 11:00. Bagged lunches will be provided.

Last Friday, select high school band and chorus students had the opportunity to participate in the Castleton Honors Festival. These students worked alongside students from schools across New York and Vermont, in a day of rehearsals, resulting in a final performance in the evening. They also had the chance to work with music faculty and students from the Castleton Campus.

This week, our school will focus on the character strength of Open-Mindedness. This means being willing to consider new ideas and try new things. It involves looking at situations from all sides and not jumping to conclusions.
 

The Fort Edward Varsity Volleyball team brought home the win during our annual pink game. All month long the girls have been hard at work raising money for breast cancer awareness.

The ski and boarding club will be holding an informational meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 8th at 2:35 PM in HS 216. Students interested in participating should attend.
