The graduation of the Class of 2026 marks the culmination of profound dedication, rigorous academic pursuit, and intellectual growth. Over the course of this journey, each graduate has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to excellence, transforming challenges into distinct opportunities for scholarly and personal development.

Congratulations to third grader Evalee Whible from Miss Usher's class.  She was published in the May 28th issue of The Chronicle Newspaper!  Check out her story about, What is your favorite thing about your town?  

Our Pre-K students had a wonderful time celebrating at their picnic and graduation! The morning was filled with smiles, laughter, and special memories as the children enjoyed playing on the playground, playing games, eating delicious food, and spending time with family and friends. We are so proud of all they have accomplished this year and were thrilled to celebrate this exciting milestone together!

The school district is thrilled to help connect our students and families with some incredible summer opportunities right down the street at the Fort Edward Free Library! The library has officially launched its 2026 Summer Reading Challenge alongside a fantastic lineup of free educational events to keep children of all ages engaged, learning, and having fun all summer long.

Participation in the reading challenge and all summer activities is completely free and open to all families residing in the Village and Town of Fort Edward, as well as surrounding communities.

More than 300 grandparents, family members, students, and staff joined us for a wonderful morning of food, fun, and community spirit at Fort Edward UFSD. The energy in the room was incredible, making it a truly unforgettable start to the day.

The active day gave students two ways to explore. While some students walked a scenic portion of the trail, 15 adventurous students opted to bike the route. Sergeant Murray and Deputy Haring from the Washington County Sheriff's Bike Patrol Unit accompanied the group to ensure everyone stayed safe during the impressive 15-mile round trip ride.

An incredible team of teachers and chaperones supported the students every step and pedal of the way, including Mr. Tully, Mr. Smatko, Ms. Brewer, Ms. Sass, Mr. Barton, Mrs. Glass, Ms. Iuliucci, and Mrs. Smatko.

Step aside, Madame Tussauds—our third graders just brought history to life right here on campus!

Recently, our Grade 3 students participated in a spectacular "Wax Museum" exhibition, showcasing weeks of hard work, deep research, and incredible creativity. Each student selected an influential figure from history to study, transforming our space into a living, breathing timeline of the past.
