The Fort Edward Parent-Teacher Organization (FE PTO) is inviting the community to lace up their skates and wear their blue and white for an exciting upcoming event: "Forts Bring the Thunder Game!"

The event centers around a game featuring the Adirondack Thunder hockey team and is scheduled for Sunday, February 22, 2026, at 3:00 PM.

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that our very own Kyley Varney has been named to the New York State All-Stars 4th Team for Class D Volleyball!

A huge standing ovation to our incredibly talented Fort Edward Chorus for their spectacular winter concert last night! The halls were truly alive with the sound of music. We are so proud of all the hard work and dedication shown by our students and their director, Mrs. Smith.

A reminder that Picture Retake Day is scheduled for Wednesday, December 10, 2025.

Last month, students in grades K-5 embarked on a festive educational journey to our local treasure, The Old Fort House Museum. Their visit was centered around the museum's charming holiday exhibit, "Customs of Christmas Past," providing a wonderful opportunity for students to step back in time and experience history firsthand.  Many of our students created some of the ornaments that will be displayed at the museum.  

Fort Edward Festive Week is Almost Here! Get ready to show off your holiday spirit! Fort Edward is celebrating Festive Week from December 15th through the 19th!

Congratulations to our Girls on the Run participants! Throughout their 8 week Hello Bold Heart  Curriculum, they developed life skills like forming friendships, resolving conflicts and managing emotions. With these engaging lessons and physical activities, they grew their self confidence. At the end of the season, the girls participated in a celebratory 5K at Jennings Landing in Albany. This opportunity has empowered them to continue to build on these life skills that will last beyond the program.!
